The artwork is the artists retelling of an old folk tale. A mythical tale of a dragon that divided a mountain into hills. The mountain was said to be the dragon’s lair where it rests between it’s meals. Given the large scale of the dragon, the untimely awakening of the colossal creature severed the mountain in halves. Showcasing the dragon’s earth-flattening strength.   
 
The witness of this immense devastation named the area Bukit Panggal (translated as ‘TheDivided Hills Village’), located in the far west of Tutong District in Brunei Darussalamnow, a reservoir of communities.
