The artwork is a study of an old man’s hand gestures reciting quotes from the Quran with their
fingers clicking, counting the ‘Dzikir’ --- paying honour towards Allah the Almighty by
reciting quotes upto 100 times --- seeking blessings and acceptance through their efforts.
According to the artist, ‘Wirid’ becomes the best word to describe their behaviour through the
gesture of their hands.
